We recently had the opportunity to partner with Sarah at the 2006 Roswell Women's Club Showcase Home by providing her with three beautiful antique reproduction pieces for the teenage girls room.
Photographs of her work have been published in articles by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Window Fashions Magazine. Sarah frequently gives seminars on interior decorating and has been a featured speaker of the Roswell Women's Club Showcase Home as well as at other civic and charity events.
A lifelong student of art and design, Sarah Youngblood established Sarah Youngblood Interiors in 1989 as a design firm and drapery workroom. Through her continued studies at The Art Institute of Atlanta, Sarah developed a skill for bringing art and fine textiles into the home through interior design. In 2003 she became a Priority Dealer for Hunter Douglas Window Fashions and began offering her clients a full range of window treatments, from shutters and blinds to custom draperies.
Sarah's designs have appeared in the World Mission Show House, the Atlanta Symphony Show House and the Roswell Women's Club Showcase Home. She has received awards from the Sew What Magazine Workroom Competition and was a national finalist in the Decorative Trims and Hardware category of the Window Fashions Design Competition in 2001.
In 2005 Sarah was honored by Hunter Douglas for her excellent customer service and product knowledge and promoted to a Showcase Dealer.
Sarah is recognized by the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) as a Certified Window Treatment Professional and is a member the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Alpharetta with her family and spends her free time playing ALTA tennis and watching her two teenage children swim competitively.
