Domestic Shipping (U.S. & Canada)
For domestic shipping rates, give us your city, state/province, country and zip code and we
will give you a curbside shipping quote that will be exact--not an estimate. Following are
important policies regarding how we ship.
1. Delivery Times: All furniture items are shipped to your curb - Our very low priced shipping quotes do not include red carpet services. If you would like inside delivery, unpacking, or setup help, we will be happy to furnish you with the numbers of a few reputable furniture delivery companies that can provide more complete delivery solutions. You will be responsible for the additional delivery charges. You must provide a daytime phone number, the carrier will not schedule the final delivery until they speak with you by phone. Normal deliveries will arrive in two to four weeks. Small items will be shipped via UPS Ground service with deliveries in 7 to 10 business days. For more details on our packing and shipping expertise, see #6 below. Please be sure to measure all of your entry ways to ensure your furniture will fit through your doors. If an item is shipped to you and does not fit through your door, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to you and back, and a restocking fee of 15%.
2. Packing Materials: Packing materials and other packing expenses are already factored into the shipping price. We take great pride in our packing and shipping precautions. Your larger furniture pieces will arrive on a pallet to prevent "Manhandling" which is the most common cause of damage to furniture.
3. Insurance: We do not offer insurance, however to protect you from damage we do the following: If the item arrives and the box looks damaged (i.e. big hole in box, box is badly crushed) do not accept the shipment. They will send it back and we will refund you. If the box is undamaged accept the delivery. If there is hidden damage, email us photos right away (within 24 hours) and if we determine the damage was caused from faulty packaging or shipping negligence, we will either repair or replace the item.
4. USA Shipping Options: English Classics has developed a proprietary packing and shipping service that is unrivaled in the industry; our methods for packing large furniture items ensure that they survive anything except the most blatant abuse. We only use oversized pallets and metal strapping to prevent individuals from attempting to lift you package without the proper machinery. We provide the maximum amount of cushion and padding and we disassemble the most fragile parts whenever possible. All shipments are sent out via common carrier and delivered to your curb. If you require blanket wrap shipping and set-up, we will be happy to arrange inside delivery for an added cost, or alternatively to provide you with names of reliable shippers in your area. 1. Items are first wrapped in acid free Kraft paper to prevent markings to the finish from packing materials. |

2. We then add a layer of heavy duty industrial bubble wrap to provide cushion to the piece. |

3. A thick layer of high density foam is added, and shrink wrapped into place. |
 |
4. We then build a crate around the piece out of thick, double walled cardboard. |
 |
5. The cardboard crates are then strapped to oversized pallets with metal strapping to keep them secure. |
