     This stunning antique style gateleg dining table is handmade in England from solid oak and imported directly to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA. The oak is hand-finished and hand-polished for a high-quality look that is unquestionably a step above other dining tables of this style. An optional banding of yew wood compliments the oak quite nicely, while the customizable legs also look great either in barley twist, plain twist, turned or square. The contrast between the banding and the oak brings out the finer qualities of each wood type in addition to giving this table a lot of character and unique style. Because this is a gateleg style table, it has a hanging leaf on each side which is supported by legs that swing out from the central base like a gate. This table is solid oak, and is very heavy and strong. The perfect combination of English antique-style beauty and convenient utility, this gateleg dining table would make a fantastic addition to any home furniture collection!
