Here we have a vintage yew wood two drawer file cabinet. This piece was made in England around 1960 and features two locking drawers that are already set up for legal size hanging files. You could easily put a letter size hanging file system from any office supply store if you needed that size file. The locks on the drawers do not function. Each drawer is on metal runners for easy opening and closing. Just above the two drawers is a pull out writing slide for when you need a quick surface to write on. The yew wood used in this file cabinet is very lovely, having little bird's eyes in the grain. The condition of the file cabinet is very good with almost no wear to speak of and the cabinet is very sturdy.
