This antique style bachelors chest was originally crafted in England between 1960-70 for the British RAF. Recently, this chest was treated to a full restoration by a small English cabinetmaker, which involved new oyster veneers on the top and drawers, new brass hardware, a new brush slide, and new shaped bracket feet. The original sides still show some of the wear marks that were sustained prior to the restoration, but otherwise this chest remains as beautiful as it is sturdy. Each drawer features dovetailed joints, and the green leather-inlaid brush slide is decorated with elegant gold tooling. Due to the recent restoration, this chest retains an excellent condition.
