Yew Bow Front Bookcase

This bow front bookcase was crafted in England around 1990 by Beresford and Hicks. Today, the yew remains quite beautiful, with a rich complexion and a striking grain, while the bow front design itself is quite elegant. Brass pulls contrast beautifully with the yew, and the upper section is lined with lovely white fabric. All shelves except for the one in the lower central cabinet adjust with brass pins, making this bookcase as convenient as it is gorgeous. The top and bottom sections, both of which are very heavy, separate for shipping and easier movement. Wear marks plot the length of the plinth base, while the finish in the central cabinet doors is a bit worn. There are also a few scratches in the counter, which are difficult to picture. Otherwise, this stunning bookcase remains extremely sturdy and in very good overall condition.
