Yew Antique Bookcase

English-made around 1960, this bookcase has developed the beginnings of a lovely patina, which helps to enrich the distinct grain and complexion of the yew. The brass hardware also provides a striking contrast with the yew, while the astragal glass doors, dental moulding and shaped bracket feet are also quite elegant. The cabinet and bookcase sections both lock, and each drawer features dovetailed joints. Conveniently, the top and bottom sections also separate for shipping and easy movement. This bookcase even remains in excellent condition so it would make a fine addition to any furniture collection!
