This beautiful solid oak sideboard was made during the Victorian period in England, around 1890. The most attractive feature of this buffet are its intricately done barely twist legs and stretchers. It is a very nice open barley twist that really catches your eye. The backsplash has a beveled mirror and several geometric shaped wooden accents. The two large drawers open with tear drop shaped brass pulls and the drawers are made with hand cut dovetails. The left cabinet has a shelf and the right cabinet has a pull out tray used for holding wine bottles. The drawers and doors are decorated with beautiful carvings. The cabinet doors lock with included key. This sturdy buffet is in very good condition with very little wear on the piece. The counter has a place where the finish is lighter than the rest and the mirror on the backsplash has some minor spotting, but other than that the sideboard is in very good condition. The sideboard is 37.5" tall not counting the backsplash.
