Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Sideboard

This elegant bow front sideboard was handmade in Victorian England around 1890. Over the years, the mahogany has developed a rich patina that brings out the deep, lustrous complexion and the pronounced grain. The brass hardware also contrasts beautifully with the wood, while the carved edging and fluted legs also look quite striking. With a single drawer and two cabinets--neither of which house functioning locks--this sideboard also offer plenty of storage space. Although it has sustained some surface wear, including numerous marks consistent with age and separations in the wood on the left cabinet door and right side, this sideboard does remain quite sturdy. There was also once a backsplash or gallery on the top but it has been lost. Overall condition is therefore very good, making this sideboard an excellent candidate for any home!
