This table is a wonderful example of Victorian period carved oak furniture. An oak library table that was made in England around 1890; this table is a stunning antique. Its most prominent feature are the elaborate hand carvings adorning all of the sides, apron, and legs. Faces, lion heads, and floral motifs abound; all coming together to form a unique Victorian antique with loads of charm. This library table has two drawers on one side, that open by pulling on the bottom of the drawer. (there are no visible handles) The top of the oak library desk is in good condition with no major gouges or scratches. There are some slight separations between the boards, a natural occurring phenomenon in all antiques that does not affect the structural integrity of the table. The table is very sturdy and strong and would make an excellent addition to any home or office!
