Victorian Antique Oak Desk

Desk Description

This exquisite oak antique desk was hand-crafted in Victorian-Period England around 1890 and recently imported to our antique store here in Atlanta, Georgia. Every aspect of this antique desk is of the utmost quality, from its incredibly functionality to its excellent cosmetic condition. All of the dovetail-crafted drawers operate very smoothly (which is rare in an antique desk), while there is no wobbling and no structural problems whatsoever. There are a few stress marks here and there (very few considering the age of this desk), which you can see in the pictures accompanying this description. Otherwise, the carved solid oak looks incredible, with a rich complexion and striking grain that have grown quite beautiful since the passing of the Victorian period. The solid brass pulls also provide a beautiful contrast with the oak. Please note that this antique desk no longer houses functioning locks, and that it does not disassemble.
