This two over two chest of drawers was originally made around 1840 during the early Victorian era of English furniture. Recently, an English mastercraftsman has restored the piece by putting on new burled walnut veneers, hardware, and feet to make an old carcass into a functional work of art. The burled walnut is quite attractive and is bordered with a straight walnut crossband. The honey brown color and darker shading really make this dresser stand out. The pierced brass Chippendale pulls complement the walnut very well. The size of this chest is perfect for a side table or nightstand. The drawers are deep and spacious allowing you to store plenty of items. At the bottom, bracket feet keep the chest sturdy. The condition of this piece is excellent, having just been restored. As with most Victorian chests the drawers have handcut dovetails and the piece is very sturdily made. Don't miss out on this little beauty!
