This unique pair of chairs was made in continental Europe sometime around 1890. They are hand carved from solid oak and absolutely beautiful. You will notice that one chair is slightly taller than the other. This was the "King" chair and the slightly smaller was the "Queen". The carvings are traditional European floral designs that are found throughout the backrests and stretchers of the chairs. The upholstery is a fringed green upholstery that is in fairly good condition. The chairs themselves are also in good condition with nothing more than minor wear that you would expect from a piece of this age. Don't miss owning this unique pair of sitting chairs today!
The larger chair measures 19.5" wide x 16.5" deep x 50" tall with a seat height of 20"
The smaller chair measures 19" wide x 15.5" deep x 48" tall with a seat height of 19"
