The English often keep a stick stand or umbrella stand in their foyer to store their walking sticks and umbrellas in. This piece is just such a stick stand. It was made in England around 1920 and is made from oak. There is a double section for sticks ect with a tin tray at the bottom (so water from wet umbrellas would not get on the floor). This stick stand also features a small drawer that would have been used for storing gloves or keys. Overall this stickstand is in really nice condition and has a beautiful look to it.
