The solid oak, for instance, is treated to an elaborate finishing process that includes hand-distressing and hand-waxing, while the yew banding is treated to an equally impressive series of techniques. The result is a table that shows a fine, rich complexion and an incredibly distinct grain. The French legs and shaped skirt also help to make this dining table quite an elegant piece of furniture.
