Triple door mahogany bookcase from England, circa 1960. The flame mahogany on this piece really makes it stand out from other, more plain pieces, without being too much. The simple dentil moulded cornice, astragal glazed doors, and Chippendale brass hardware all come together for a pristine look. This bookcase consists of nine adjustable or removable shelves (the top 3 of which have been replaced at some point and are a slightly different color if you look closely) in the top section and three removable shelves in the bottom. All doors lock with included keys. There are also three drawers for additional storage. Bracket feet finish the simple look at the bottom and keep this cabinet sturdy. The overall condition of this bookcase is excellent, with the very little where being in the form of a few minute dings, too small to photograph. This bookcase comes in two pieces for easier moving. Full of great storage and in great shape, this bookcase would make a wonderful addition to any home or office.
