Recently imported to our Atlanta furniture store, this mahogany bookcase was made in England around 1960. It features two glass doors with 13 pane astragal glazed glass. The doors lock with included key and inside you will find two shelves that have 3 adjustable positions each. The doors also have a inlaid brass string around them and the top is adorned with a dentil moulded cornice. Bracket feet give the bookcase a slightly elevated and airy look. Overall this piece is in good condition with only minor wear, consistent with what you would expect for a piece of this age. The wear is found throughout but mostly on the top and feet. The shelf depth is 8.75".
