Made by a company called Palmer Brothers in Great Yarmouth, England, around 1890-1900, this washstand remains in great condition today. The construction is extremely well done with hand cut dovetails in the drawers. The tiles in the backsplash complement the marble top very well and the mahogany wood contrasts both nicely. The drawers slide in and out easily and have some nice brass, plate back pulls. Each side of the piece has a nice, thick mahogany towel rail. There is a makers tag inside the cabinet door that reads Palmer Brothers, Great Yarmouth, House Furnishers. This washstand is in excellent condition with only a few light wear marks throughout. Overall this mahogany washstand would make a wonderful addition to any home!
