This good sized drop leaf table is a Georgian period table from around 1820 and is made from a beautiful oak wood. The patina on this table is incredible and the carved scalloping and patterns on the edge make it a very unique piece. This drop leaf table has a drawer on either side that are fitted with newer brass drop pulls. The drawers feature hand cut dovetails and the drawer bottoms are beveled into the sides which is a sign of authenticity and quality. Each drop leaf can be supported with one or two swing out legs allowing you to customize where the legs are to accommodate your chairs. Some of the seams where the boards were joined are visible, a cosmetic phenomenon that occurs when solid wood shrinks and expands over time. The top has some minor distress marks that are to be expected with a piece of this age. The legs have minor dings and wear but are very sturdy. Overall this table is in good condition and will last for years to come. The workmanship that went into this antique table is incredible and sure to impress all who see it. The width when closed is 19".
