This gorgeous antique mahogany sideboard was handmade in Georgian England around 1790. Today, the mahogany remains as beautiful as ever, with a deep, lustrous complexion, a striking grain, and a patina to enrich them both. This sideboard features two very deep drawers (one on each side) and the two middle drawers which are a more standard size. The drawers have beautiful brass round pulls with floral decorations on them and are joined with hand cut dovetails. Over time, the flame mahogany front has developed some minor crackling that can be seen in the pictures. Although it remains quite sturdy, this sideboard has sustained general surface wear consistent with age, including numerous small dents. The right side has developed an age split (see picture), although this was a one-time superficial development in the wood resulting from age. There are locks in all the drawers but no key. Overall this sideboard remains in very good condition and would make a fantastic addition to any home.
