English Yew Breakfront Sideboard

This antique style English-made yew breakfront sideboard is crafted and imported to our antique furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. The bird's eye yew, a variety of wood that has been favored by English cabinetmakers for centuries for its exotic appearance, displays an incredibly rich complexion and a striking grain. The antique style brass hardware complements the yew beautifully, while traditional Georgian style satinwood inlays on each of the cabinet doors make lovely accents. As useful as it is beautiful, this breakfront sideboard also provides plenty of storage space, with a total of three locking cabinets (the center of which is twice as wide as the others) and four drawers. This sideboard rests on a traditional English plinth base, which in turn rests on removable casters. The strength of this piece is also quite impressive, as it has been made with the utmost care by a skilled English cabinetmaker.
