This oak dressing table is in very good condition. It is sturdy and the finish has held up very well over the years. The mirror is beveled and does have quite abit of spotting to it. Spotting is when the silver in the mirror tarnishes. The mirror is held sturdy by two barley twist supports. The chest portion is a two over two drawer design. Each drawer has tear drop pulls, is hand cut dovetailed front and back, and the drawer bottoms are solid and beveled. Carvings adorn each drawer and the chest, while the entire piece sits on barley twist legs joined by a stretcher. Each leg has one steel caster at the bottom. Overall this piece is in very good condition with the mirror spotting being the only blemish. This dressing table was made in England and we date it from about 1920.
