English Mahogany Writing Desk

This two-drawer writing desk is bench-made in England and directly imported to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. The flame mahogany, being distressed, finished and polished all by hand, displays a rich complexion and distinct grain that are complemented beautifully by optional satinwood, rosewood or yew wood banding as well as by antiqued solid-brass hardware. The two drawers, both of which lock, feature hand-cut dovetailed joints like those found in antique furniture, while the writing desk itself rests on strong square-tapered legs. Also, the back is finished, so you can place this desk anywhere in the room with no worry! Although this is a writing desk, it could also be used as a side or hall table because of its size. But however you choose to use it, this beautiful English-made writing desk would make a fine addition to any home or office furniture collection!
