This round mahogany occasional table was English-made around 1940. Today, the mahogany remains quite beautiful, with a rich complexion and a striking grain that look especially lovely with the development of a patina. The mahogany crossbanding and satinwood inlay complement the cathedral mahogany beautifully, while the tripod base is as sturdy as it is elegant, with sinuous, firm legs. There are a few scuffs in the finish that are difficult to see and appear translucent and white (see pictures), but otherwise cosmetic and structural condition both remain very good.
