This gorgeous serpentine drinks cabinet was English-made around 1950 as a reproduction of a 19th century antique. The flame mahogany, which has developed the beginnings of a lovely patina, now displays a rich complexion and a striking grain, which contrasts beautifully with the solid brass pulls. Of course, the serpentine shape is itself quite elegant, as are the sturdy shaped bracket feet upon which this cabinet rests. The upper and lower doors lock with an accompanying key, while a convenient slide pulls out just above the drawer, which features dovetailed joints. Although this cabinet remains as sturdy as ever, there is a bit of wear, most notably on the lower left door, along the base and on the very top (which is too high for most people to see in any case). Overall, therefore, the condition of this drinks cabinet remains very good.
