English Mahogany Glass Bookcase

This exquisite flame mahogany astragal glass bookcase is a new reproduction handmade in England by a third-generation cabinetmaker. The astragal glass moulding sets this gorgeous bookcase apart, giving it a classy look that, when combined with the remarkably rich flame mahogany, will look great in any setting. The wood itself was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a fine wax finish, which both protects and enriches the natural beauty of the wood, and which is superior to other, cheaper forms of finishing. The shaped bracket feet are as sturdy as they are elegant, while both sets of doors lock with an accompanying key. All shelves adjust by means of a traditional alligator bracket system. The top and bottom also separate for easy movement and shipping, and they screw together for extra stability (pre-drilled holes and screws are provided). Because this bookcase is brand new, it is in excellent condition, and would make a fine addition to any furniture collection.
