This gorgeous antique oak Welsh dresser was crafted in England around 1940 in a Jacobean style. Today, the oak remains quite beautiful, with a deep, lustrous complexion, a pronounced grain, and a rich patina. The result is a wonderfully aged dresser that would complement any setting. This is particularly so, given the wonderful details in this piece, including the beaded edging, mazed paneling, and elegantly turned feet. Although this dresser remains very sturdy, it has sustained some superficial wear, particularly on the counter where the finish has worn a bit along with the development of the patina. Similarly, there are two separations in the wood on the counter; these separations are purely cosmetic and thus do not affect structural integrity. Overall condition is therefore very good.
