This stunning flame mahogany sideboard was English-made around 1960 as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. The flame mahogany, so named because of its highly distinctive grain, displays a deep, lustrous complexion and of course the wispy grain for which this variety of mahogany is prized the world over. The satinwood inlays and brass hardware also contrast beautifully with the mahogany, while the serpentine shape itself is quite elegant. Each drawer features dovetailed joints, while the two cabinet lock with an accompany set of keys. This sideboard has sustained a number of small scratches and scuffs along the top edge and counter, although structurally it remains as sturdy as ever. Overall condition is therefore very good.
