English Bow Front Mahogany Sideboard

This gorgeous mahogany sideboard was English-made around 1940 as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. Today, the mahogany remains as beautiful as ever, with a lustrous complexion and a striking grain that go very well with the satinwood banding around the top. The brass pulls also contrast beautifully with the mahogany, while the fluted edging and square tapered legs are elegant, classic elements of Georgian style furniture. Each of the three drawers features dovetails joints, indicating fine quality. This sideboard has, however, sustained several minor scratches along the top and on the top drawer front. Otherwise, structural integrity remains as strong as ever so overall condition is very good.
