This gorgeous antique style yew cupboard was crafted in England around 1960 as a Georgian period reproduction. Today, the yew remains as beautiful as ever, with a deep, lustrous complexion and a remarkably pronounced grain. The brass swan neck pulls and accentual crossbanding contrast beautifully with the yew, producing a gorgeous cupboard that would look great in any setting. Each drawer features dovetailed joints, indicating fine craftsmanship, while the cabinet doors lock with an accompanying key. The shaped bracket feet remain as sturdy as they are elegant, and generally this cupboard is quite sturdy. It has sustained some superficial wear, however, mostly in the form of small scuffs and imperfections that have developed in the wood (see pictures). Overall condition therefore remains very good.
