This antique oak gate leg table was English-made around 1920. Today, the oak retains a beautiful complexion and a striking grain that have grown more beautiful over the years with the development of a lovely patina. The distinctive carved barley twist legs are the most striking feature of this table, in part because of the skillful carving and attractive shape, but also because there are an impressive total of eight legs. This is in part why this table remains so sturdy, and why we expect it to endure for decades to come. It has, however, sustained some superficial wear--there are a variety of insignificant wear marks in the surfaces of the table. Overall condition therefore remains very good.
