Handmade by a third-generation English cabinetmaker, this 10ft elm pedestal dining table boasts the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship available to the contemporary furniture-making world. The burl elm used in the making of this table displays a stunning grain and lustrous complexion, complemented by satinwood herringbone inlay. The edge and legs of the table feature the distinctive fluting that is characteristic of the Georgian style, while solid-brass feet and casters not only provide a lovely contrast to the burl elm, but also convenient movement. Two table leaves, each measuring 20 inches, may be added or taken out according to whichever configuration is convenient. The two ends of the table rest on sturdy, solid elm pedestals. Because this table is handmade, it is incredibly firm and will be sure to last for generations, one day becoming an antique itself!
