Antique Yew Wood Breakfront Bookcase

This amazing yew wood bookcase was made in England around 1960. It features beautiful etched glass doors, a mirrored interior back, and a fantastic yew wood grain and color. Each section on the top has two adjustable glass shelves, and each bottom cabinet has one stationary but removable shelf. All cabinets lock with an included key. The top cabinets have lights, but will need to be re-wired to work with American electrical circuits. There are three dovetailed drawers for additional storage as well.

This bookcase is very sturdy and well built. It has wear marks all over the piece consistent with age, some minor crazing to the doors, but no major scratches or dings. The drawers slide in and out easily and the doors open and close and lock perfectly. Overall this piece is in excellent condition and would make a perfect addition to any home or office.
