Coming from England, this elegant set of solid mahogany shield back dining chairs would make a wonderful addition to any home. These chairs were made around 1960 and we recently imported them to our antique furniture store in Atlanta, GA. The shield backs are a beautiful shape and curve slightly so they are quite comfortable to sit in. Each of the chairs have seats that are upholstered in a red fabric that is in very good condition. The front legs are a tapered square that end in a spade foot and the back legs are a splay leg. This set of eight consists of six side chairs and two arm chairs which are all in very good condition and very sturdy. This set of dining chairs will last you for generations.
