This quaint quartersawn oak welsh dresser was made in the UK around 1940 and remains in very good condition today. Featuring barley twist legs, three shelves for display, and a large storage cabinet with two drawers, this dresser is perfect for almost any set up. The oak is a beautiful light color that will only improve as time goes on. The cabinet doors lock with included key and appear to have once had a round decoration on them that is no longer there. The space behind the cabinet doors is a long open space. The drawers feature brass drop pulls and hand cut dovetailed joints. The middle shelf on the top of the dresser has a strip of moulding used for standing up plates. Finally, finishing the piece off nicely at the top is a moulded cornice and shaped top skirt. Overall this dresser is in very good condition with only minor wear consistent with age. The top does separate from the bottom for easier moving.
