This charming antique chair set of four was crafted in England around 1920 and recently imported to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA. The oak, after years of developing a lovely patina, now displays a remarkably rich complexion and a distinct grain, both of which look especially striking in contrast with the grey felt seats. The barley twist legs also look rather elegant, as do the simple, traditional backrests. Conveniently, the seats do pop out for easy cleaning. The chairs remain in excellent structural condition and so are quite sturdy. Each chair has very minor wear in the form of tiny marks that are consistent with age and non-structural. Overall, therefore, these antique English chairs remain in good overall condition.
