This unusual firescreen was made in England around 1920. The frame is oak with barley twist supports. The eye catching center is a hardened leather with a floral motif decoration pressed into it. As you can see in the photos the leather has some small spots that are slightly lighter than the rest and some very minor crackling. The border of the leather panel is a very attractive twist which makes the perfect transition from the leather to the oak wood. Overall this piece is quite unusual and in good condition. Don't miss out!
