This gorgeous antique style mahogany breakfront sideboard was crafted in England around 1960 by Bevan Funnell Ltd. Today, the mahogany remains as beautiful as ever, with a lovely patina, a rich complexion, and a striking grain. Brass swan neck pulls complement the mahogany beautifully, while elegant crossbanding adorns the drawer fronts. With a single drawer (featuring a removable divider) and three locking cabinets, this sideboard contains plenty of convenient storage space. The drawer features dovetailed joints, while the sideboard rests on sturdy, shaped bracket feet. Although quite sturdy, this sideboard has sustained a small amount of very light wear, particularly on one of the feet. However, when this sideboard was originally crafted around 1960, it was designed as a Georgian period reproduction; as such, the cabinetmaker saw fit to include distressing in the process to give the piece a genuine look and feel that have obviously stood the test of time. This sideboard would certainly make a fine addition to any home or office.
