Here we have a stunning bookcase made from a brilliant flame mahogany in England around 1960. The mahogany on this bookcase is absolutely stunning and sure to be the eye catching piece of any room. The top section has astragal glazed doors, each housing two adjustable wood shelves, that lock with included key. Below the glass doors are two small drawers and a drop front, secretaire drawer with a leather writing surface. The secretaire section has several cubbies and small drawers to help with organization of papers etc. Finally the base is three large cabinet doors which hide a spacious interior and one wooden shelf per section. This bookcase has some finish wear to the left side and a little around the plinth base. Overall, however, the bookcase is in good condition and very sturdy. It will last for generations to come! This bookcase does in two pieces (top and bottom) for easier transporting.
