Using the traditional Jacobean style geometric decorations, the creator of this oak seated hall stand has done an incredible job of making a beautiful yet functional piece of furniture. This hall tree was made in England around 1940 and, because of the seat, is quite hard to come by. The seat lifts up for storage underneath. All of the hooks are intact and the metal tins on the bottom are in good shape. In the middle of the back is a beveled mirror that is in very good shape save for some small pencil head size spots and a small scratch on the lower right side. Overall this oak hall stand is in very good condition and is quite sturdy. It would make the perfect addition to any home or office entryway or mud room.
