The mahogany displays a deep, rich grain and complexion that the satinwood crossbanding and solid brass hardware complement beautifully, while intricate moulding and shaped bracket feet help to create the classic, elegant appearance that makes this tallboy an impressive presence. With a total of seven large drawers, each featuring hand-cut dovetails, this tallboy chest of drawers also offers an incredible amount of storage space, and because it is both wide and very tall, it makes the best use of the space it occupies. Constructed and restored by two entirely separate generations of English craftsmen, this Georgian style mahogany tallboy offers not only a unique history, but also impressive utility, so it would make a fine addition to any home furniture collection!
