This beautiful antique solid oak dresser was hand-crafted in Georgian England around 1820. Over the years, the wood has developed a lovely patina that enhances the distinct oak grain and warm complexion, producing a rich, lustrous oak that is sure to make a bold impression on any room. The solid brass hardware complements the oak beautifully, while the classic, unadorned Georgian style is characteristically simple yet elegant. The traditional two-over-three drawer design offers plenty of storage space, while the shaped bracket feet provide sturdy support. Each drawer in this solid oak dresser features hand-cut dovetailed joints, indicating fine craftsmanship--in fact the same quality craftsmanship that can be seen in the use of thick wood and sturdy hardware. Perhaps the most unique feature of this dresser, however, is that although it is almost two centuries old, it remains in almost perfect condition, with only the most minor wear on the top. This is certainly a rare feature, as one would expect wear more consistent with the age of the dresser. This antique Georgian solid oak dresser would make a fine addition to any home furniture collection!
