This gorgeous mahogany chest of drawers was crafted in Georgian England around 1820. Today, the mahogany remains as beautiful as ever, with a deep, lustrous complexion and a pronounced grain that have grown more lovely over the years with the development of a rich patina. Brass swan neck pulls and satinwood inlays contrast beautifully with the mahogany, while the five drawers contain plenty of storage space. Each drawer features hand-cut dovetails, while the feet continue to provide sturdy support. Structural integrity remains as firm as ever, although this chest has sustained some surface wear. The sides and top have also developed superficial separations in wood. Overall condition for a piece of this age is therefore very good.
