This charming walnut chest of drawers was hand-crafted in Europe around the year 1860. The walnut has developed a lovely patina and now displays a rich complexion and a pronounced grain. The brass hardware also contrasts beautifully with the walnut, while each drawer features dovetailed joints and a convenient brush slide pulls out from above the drawers. The top-right drawer pull is missing, and the top-left pull has been replaced. The sides have also developed separations in the wood as a result of the natural aging process; these separations are cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity of the wood. The brushing slide is tight and has some age splits as well. There is a key included which locks both top drawers. This chest has also sustained a number of scuffs and wear marks but remains very sturdy, so overall condition is good.
