This hanging wall mirror is framed in beautiful English oak. It was made in England around 1920 and recently imported to our Atlanta furniture store. The mirror itself is beveled. The silver has "spotting" (silver behind the glass tarnishes in small dots) throughout. Most spots about the size of a pencil tip, but there are many of them. Spotting is hard to photograph but they show up well in the two close up photos. The oak frame is in good condition. There are four separations where the wood is joined. This is part of the piece and not a structural problem. On the top (or bottom should you choose to invert the mirror) are two hand carved decorations which help break up the thick smooth frame. Oak beading also runs around the perimeter of the frame. This is a beautiful English mirror that will fit well in any room, don't miss out!
