This beautiful drop leaf sofa table was made of mahogany in England around 1960. It features a green leather top with gold tooling. The leather has aged well, showing some minor crackling on the surface that makes old leather so attractive. One side of the table has two drawers, the other side has faux drawers giving it the appearance of having drawers on both sides. This allows you to place the sofa table either up against something or in the middle of a room and it will still look great from all sides. The drawers are made with dovetails and the swan neck pulls are brass. The lyre or harp shaped supports and splayed legs give this table a very Ducan Phyfe look. Finally, the legs end in brass claw feet and casters. This sofa table is in excellent condition showing only minor wear consistent with its age. The table is 36.5" wide with the leaves down and 59" wide with both leaves up and there are 23.5" from the floor to the bottom of the desk.
