This gorgeous antique English mahogany sideboard was crafted during the Edwardian period, around 1910. The combination of cathedral and flame mahogany with satinwood inlays is quite striking, particularly because the wood has developed a rich patina over the years. The original brass pulls also contrast beautifully with the mahogany and satinwood, while the bowfront ends are rather elegant. Each cabinet locks with an accompanying set of keys, and in addition to five drawers, they provide plenty of storage space. Each drawer features hand-cut dovetails, indicating fine quality, while the shaped apron, square tapered legs, and spade feet produce a rich style that is sure to look great in any setting. Although this Edwardian sideboard remains very sturdy and in great overall condition, it has sustained some surface wear, which you can see in the pictures that accompany this listing. Included in the wear are a variety of scuffs and indentations as well as some wear to the finish and an on one of the sides within the gap in the center of the sideboard.
