This mahogany chest of drawers was made in England around 1910 during the Edwardian furniture period. This period is well known for its clean lines, mahogany furniture, and straight, simple satinwood inlays. This dresser fits the period perfectly. With three large drawers there is plenty of storage space, and the chest is the perfect size to fit in a variety of applications. The drawers are joined with hand cut dovetails. This chest has wear in the form or minor scuffs and nicks throughout, mainly on the plinth base. The bottom right handle has been replaced, although all the others appear to be original to the piece. The mahogany has patinated wonderfully over the years and is accented perfectly with straight satinwood inlays. A sturdy piece that will stay in the family for generations, don't miss out!
