Antique Edwardian Mahogany Display Cabinet

This beautiful antique mahogany display cabinet was hand-crafted in Edwardian England around 1910. Since then, the mahogany has developed a stunning patina that enriches the natural beautiful of its complexion, as well as its distinct grain. A series of satinwood inlays, paneled-glass doors and sides, and the curved center complement the mahogany wonderfully. Inside, the wood shelves are lined with soft-beige upholstery, which looks especially elegant. On each cabinet door, solid-brass escutcheons house functioning locks that operate with an accompanying key. This display cabinet rests on sturdy square-tapered legs, which extend from a beautifully shaped skirt. Remarkably, this cabinet is wobble free, and structural integrity remains strong. There are very few dings on this cabinet, less than the average piece of this era.
