Antique Dutch Solid Oak Cupboard

This gorgeous antique solid oak cupboard was hand-crafted in the Netherlands around 1890. Over the years, the solid oak has developed a lovely patina that enriches its distinct grain and warm, lustrous complexion. Ebonized wood, quartersawn oak and hand-carved designs complement the solid oak beautifully, among the designs cherubic faces and lions. This large cupboard offers a huge amount of storage space, with two exterior drawers, two interior drawers and plenty of shelving. An accompanying key operates a door lock hidden behind a sliding section of the column, thus providing both security and novel charm. There is very little wear to speak of, with only minor stress marks here and there, particularly on the feet. This antique Dutch solid oak cupboard will continue to stand on its sturdy bun feet for generations to come, so it would make a fine furniture investment!
